Angel Falls The Angel Falls (Salto Angel) is one of the natural wonders of the world. Located in south-eastern Venezuela, South America, Angel Falls is the highest free-falling waterfall in the world. The fall drops from a height of 979 m from the mesa ol Auyt’tn Tepui (Devil's Mountain) in the Guiana Highlands. The Auydn Tepui is a flat-topped mountain. It has an uninterrupted drop of 800 m and is 150 m wide at its base. The falls drain all its water into the River Churun, which flows at its base.
